These sunglasses have a story behind them. Waterhaul has transformed fishing gear recovered during a humpback whale rescue in Algoa Bay, South Africa, into a limited-edition pair of sunglasses — turning something that once threatened marine life into something designed to be worn and enjoyed.
The unisex frames are made from 100% recycled ghost fishing gear recovered from the rescue, with the coordinates of the rescue site etched inside each frame. Polarised Mineral Glass+ lenses provide UV400 protection, optical clarity and scratch resistance, while the classic shape makes them an easy everyday choice.
