Our beginning
Why we started
Love Sustainable Brands started with a simple thought: there must be more brands out there doing good things that we just haven’t discovered yet.
We wanted to find them.
Brands that care about what they make, how they make it, the materials they choose, the people behind their products — and also the people, communities and causes they support too.
But the more we looked, the more we realised that sustainability isn’t always simple. There are lots of claims, lots of information and lots of things to consider. And working out what really matters can sometimes feel overwhelming.
So we created Love Sustainable Brands as a place to bring some of that information together — and make discovering better brands feel a little easier.
Research and editorial
What we do
We research brands, explore their stories and look beyond the obvious.
We’re interested in the choices brands are making, whether that’s using different materials, considering how products are made, designing for longevity, improving their supply chains or using their business to support people and causes that matter.
We then share what we discover in a way that is clear, accessible and useful — without the jargon.
Through our Brand spotlights, you can discover the businesses behind the products. Through Products We Love, we highlight things we think are worth knowing about. And through The Edit, we explore sustainability questions, ideas and stories to help make sense of a subject that can sometimes feel complicated.

We’re not here to create a list of perfect brands — because we don’t think they exist.
Every brand has different challenges, resources and ambitions. Some are well established and have been working on sustainability for years. Others are smaller businesses taking their first steps or doing one particular thing exceptionally well.
What interests us is progress.
We want to highlight the brands that are questioning the way things have traditionally been done, looking for better solutions and being open about the journey they’re on.
And we’ll always encourage you to look a little closer, ask questions and make up your own mind.
